Ideal School library has an important role to play in child’s future competitiveness in the global economy. Our school with the books on myriad topics it has scientific magazines, news papers, dictionaries, encyclopedia’s and so on. These books comprise the features like educational, general knowledge, literature and religious (Deeniyat). These books are concerned with the different age groups i.e. school children, college students & teachers. The purpose of this is to impart knowledge to the students as well as the teachers to inculcate good habits ethics morality get guidance and to add value to their lives. Our school library programs can also help promote the development of information literacy skills among all students by supporting and coordinating the collaborative planning and implementation of reading programs, inquiry and research tasks. As we focus more and more on improving students' literacy, we are looking at the situation in our school library. We have adequate library staff and resources to improve students' achievements.
As we agree with Laura Bush’s Quote….
"Libraries allow children to ask questions about the world and find the answers and the wonderful thing is that once a child learns to use a library, the doors to learning are always open. Our aim is to inculcate the habit of reading among the students. We believe that every reader need not be a leader. But every leader has to be a good reader."
Computer Lab
Technology is of the greatest value to teachers when it is available in the Classroom. The Computer Laboratory is an academic department within the Ideal Group of Schools & Jr. College that encompasses Computer Education. It consists of Academic Staff as well as 8 Support Staff, One Technician. We have over 30 computer sets for about 2000 students in two shifts.
Computer Laboratory was set up in 1997 in the school premises to provide students with computer education to equip them with IT skills to compete in educational and social life well before Graduation. Since inception, due to constant endeavour and effort by the Teachers, Support staff and Management, it has achieved its objective to prove as a successful computer education with certificates to the students, after successfully completing of the course.
Not many children have access to computer equipment at home. This may not give students an opportunity to use it to the extent that they can build computer skills. A Computer Laboratory allows students to become comfortable in the use of computer equipment in our school which has internet facility also. Individual project work is possible if students have access to computers. This too can take place in our computer lab.
