Dr. Zahir Kazi
During my younger days I have been keenly observing my father-in-law Late Ridwan Harris - the founder Trustee & President of the Ideal Education Society, Rabodi Thane, conducting the meetings of the Managing Committee, where a band of young and dedicated members of the Society, used to discuss strategies to continuously upgrade the standard of education & its quality in its Ideal Group of Schools & Jr. College, Thane. I have always found them to be honest, dedicated & go-getters.
Now that the institution is celebrating its Golden Jubilee year, let me frankly admit that "IDEAL" has proved to be an ideal institution in Thane.
I joined the Society in 2005 as a Patron Member and was elected as a Vice-President of the Society. However, consequent upon the demise of its President Mr. Sham Sunder Sharma in June 2019, the honorable members have unanimously elected &elevated me from the position of Vice-President to the post of President of the Society. I am thankful to them for deposing faith in me. I am sure that with my experience as the President of Anjuman-i-Islam, Mumbai, I shall be able to ensure that IDEAL progresses further & reach dizzy heights in the field of quality education as well as personal development of students as respectable & responsible citizens of our community & country.
I also feel proud that in the 15 members Managing Committee, four members who hold prestigious positions in Society, have been former students of Anjuman-i- Islam Urdu High School, Mumbai.
On the occasion of updation of the Ideal's website, I wish the institution a very prosperous future, where students are nurtured & groomed as valuable human beings.
