You may be aware that I was born in Punjab and had passed my matriculation from a Urdu medium high school in Punjab, prior to partition of our country. After partition I migrated to Thane city and setup my small industry. Most of my employees were from Rabodi area. Hence, I used to visit Rabodi very often
During 1969, Ideal Education Society started Ideal School in Rabodi Thane. I came in personal touch with Mr. Shamsuddin Ghawte-the then Secretary General and Mr. Qadar Rangari- the then Committee Member of the Society as I had keen interest in education and especially for the education of Muslim Community even though I am a Hindu Brahmin. Mr. Qadar persuaded me to become the member of the Ideal Education Society. I was highly impressed about the working of the Society, especially the hard and dedicated work of Mr. Shamsuddin Ghawte- Secretary General. I became the member of the society during 1973, and since then I have been the Vice President of the Society under the able stewardship of the great personality of Mr. Ridwan Harris- President . After Mr. Harris’ demise during 2005, I have been given the responsibility of the President-ship of the Society, till date.
I feel honoured that a Hindu Brahmin is the Head of the Ideal Education Society, where all other office – bearers are Muslims. I have been enjoying working with them with full faith, confidence and total transparency. During the last 40 years the Society and its Schools & Jr. College have made tremendous progress in every field of their activities.
Now that our institution is launching our own Website, I congratulate all the team- members who have put in their best efforts to successfully launch the website. I am sure that this effort will go a long way in the progress of our institutions and even our ex- students and teachers would benefit from the website to keep them updated with the latest information about their institution.
