The Ideal Education Society, Rabodi- Thane
firmly believes that the future of any community can be moulded thru' its educational institutions. With this vision in mind, "Ideal Classes" was inaugurated.
- Inaugurated by the Society’s Founder-Trustee & President Late Ridwan Harris
- Inaugurated as “Ideal Classes” at 2nd Rabodi, Thane
- On Sunday, 6th April 1969
The “Ideal Classes” which started with just 30 students in 1969,
is known today as "S.S. Sharma Ideal Pre-Primary", "Shamsuddin Ghawte Ideal Primary School" & “Ridwan Harris Ideal High School & Junior College of Arts,Commerce & Science”, where, over 2600 poor and lower middle-class students (66% being girls) are imparted with modern & ethical education.
- The medium of instruction in these institutions is Urdu
- The mother tongue of the students is Urdu
- English language has been made mandatory from K.G. & at all levels for Computer Classes
- Maths & Science subjects are taught in English from std. I now
- The medium of instruction for Jr. College is English
